Celebrating Industry Excellence at the REFCOM London Event

Last week, our Technical Sales Director, Ian Fisher F.Inst.R, was delighted to represent Mattair at the REFCOM members’ event in London. The evening provided an excellent platform to engage with fellow professionals across the RACHP (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump) sector and share his own journey within the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR).

The event brought together a wide range of industry experts, engineers, and thought leaders, all passionate about driving best practice and maintaining the highest professional standards. Ian was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker, sharing insights into his career path, the evolving role of the IOR, and the importance of continued learning and collaboration within our industry.

Organised by REFCOM, the event was a huge success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and valuable knowledge-sharing. It was inspiring to see how the REFCOM community continues to grow, now trusted by nearly 9,000 members, all supported by a strong, expert-led network.

The evening also highlighted the essential role organisations like REFCOM and the IOR play in promoting environmental responsibility, compliance, and technical excellence across the RACHP sector. From F-Gas compliance to energy efficiency improvements and Net Zero goals, the industry is constantly evolving — and events like these help keep everyone aligned and motivated to meet the challenges ahead.
