Helping a Local Customer Beat the Heat with a New Toshiba AC Installation

At Mattair, we’re known for our expertise in commercial HVAC systems—but every now and then, we’re called upon to lend a hand a little closer to home. Recently, we had the opportunity to help a local residential customer who needed a quick, reliable cooling solution during one of the warmest spells of the season.

The customer reached out to us about a south-facing bedroom that was getting increasingly uncomfortable as the temperatures climbed. Like many homes, this particular room was taking the brunt of the afternoon sun and simply wasn’t staying cool, even with fans and open windows.

After a quick site visit and consultation, we recommended the Toshiba Seiya 2.5kW split system. This unit is an ideal choice for smaller rooms—it’s compact, quiet, highly energy-efficient, and easy to use. It also offers reliable cooling without being intrusive, making it perfect for a bedroom environment where noise and energy consumption matter.

We carried out the installation promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the household. The timing couldn’t have been better—just as another warm spell hit, the system was up and running, providing immediate comfort. The customer was thrilled with both the performance of the unit and the smooth, professional installation process.

Although residential installations aren’t our core service, we’re always glad to support local customers when we can—especially when it helps them stay cool and sleep better during a heatwave.
