We’re pleased to share details of a recent air conditioning installation completed by the Mattair team for a valued customer in Reading.

As part of an internal office upgrade, the customer had created a new dedicated server room — an essential space that requires precise temperature control to ensure reliable operation of IT equipment. Server rooms are particularly sensitive environments, with even small rises in temperature posing a risk to hardware and system performance.

To support the climate control needs of the room, we installed a 2.5kW single split air conditioning system, carefully chosen to match the load requirements of the space. The unit provides efficient, targeted cooling to help protect the customer’s equipment from overheating, reduce the risk of downtime, and improve long-term system reliability.
