We currently have a great opportunity for a Projects Engineer to join our growing team.
Mattair is a well-established and successful air conditioning and refrigeration company based in Dronfield, Derbyshire.
We offer design, installation, maintenance and repair services to businesses throughout the UK on a range of equipment from single units to more complex systems including VRF, Chillers and Ventilation.
We are looking for a Projects Engineer that not only has the technical knowledge required but is also conscientious and has the motivation to help us develop the business further.
The successful applicant will be capable of looking after multiple projects from conception to completion, responding to requests from clients, preparing designs/quotations including site surveys and tendering for work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and design for new air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation to suit various applications.
- Project managing new installation works and liaising with clients, suppliers and engineers to ensure smooth completion of the project.
- Purchasing and organisation of materials and labour.
- Site meetings and surveys.
- Using CRM software
The Candidate:
As a Project Engineer with Mattair you will require as a minimum the following qualifications and practical experience:
- Proven technical knowledge with at least 5 year’s experience of working in an air conditioning environment.
- Have good organisational and administration skills.
- Have excellent internal and external customer facing communication skills, with the ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- The ability to work as part of a team but also work unsupervised and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Be proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be based within Sheffield or North Derbyshire.
