It is always nice to be asked to complete further work for an existing customer and we were therefore delighted to be able to help one of our clients in Chesterfield with the installation of new air conditioning equipment in their tool room.
With each installation we complete, we always consider the specific cooling and heating requirements of the business together with the design of the building as this allows us to recommend a solution that will best suit the needs of the customer.
In this instance the room already had heating, but no provision had been made for cooling. The room contained a variety of machinery which, when in use, contributed to a higher indoor temperature, so the customer was looking for a solution to provide comfort cooling.
Looking at the design of the room it was clear that a ceiling cassette unit was ideal for the part of the room where there a high ceiling, but no wall space and two wall units would suit the second part of the room where the ceiling was lower.
We therefore selected 2 x Toshiba 5kw wall mounted units and 1x 5kw ceiling cassette units.
We always recommend using equipment from leading manufacturers as not only do they use the latest technology providing greater energy efficiencies, but they also offer warranties on their systems.
On this project we recommended Toshiba equipment as they offered a competitive price as well as a 7 year warranty on the equipment (subject to the equipment being maintained by a qualified engineer).
Regular maintenance will be vital for our customer, not only to ensure their warranty is validated but also to ensure maximum efficiency and lifespan of the equipment.
