New Year – New Office – Mattair Moves

We are delighted to announce our recent move to new office premises in Dronfield, Derbyshire.

To accommodate our growing business, we decided we needed to move to larger premises and establish a permanent base for the company. We wanted to offer long-term stability to both staff and customers and provide a more flexible working environment, with office space that can be used now and in the future.

In September 2016 we were fortunate to purchase a 500 sqm plot of land opposite Sheffield Football Club – the world’s oldest football club.

With accessibility a priority, this new location offered us good road links ensuring our customers can be reached quickly and easily.  It also offered access for delivery vehicles and car parking for visitors and staff.

Our original intention was to refurbish the Old Workshop. However, it quickly became apparent that more extensive work would be required than originally planned – the asbestos roof needed removing by specialists, steels were rotten and walls were falling down.

Work began in May 2017 – we stripped the building of asbestos and virtually demolished the entire workshop and rebuilt it.

Despite this turning out to be a large development project, we are thrilled with the results. We have a bright, energy efficient, open plan office with good disabled facilities.

There is storage space for spare parts ensuring we can respond to customer breakdowns and repairs immediately as well as a meeting room suitable for internal training purposes and a comfortable area to liaise with customers and suppliers.

As a result of this move we can continue to expand the company, giving our customers a better service and our employees a more productive work environment.
